Epilogue Nintz and the Twins

Chibi Nonsense: Round 1 Epilogue
"Nintz, the Twins, and the Slave"

The demon, Hades, leered at his opponents with his crimson eyes --launching wave after wave of seering flames at them, scorching and burning the mushroom forest surrounding them--. Nintz had difficulty dodging and deflecting the flames with his telekinesis, but Skeiphle Dee and Dum had an easier time with their levitating abilities. Dee saw that this fight wasn't going well and thought of something brilliant.

"Doorknob!" He screamed, "Get ready to open a portal near the nothing!"

Doorknob sleepily nodded, then Skeiphle Dee threw Doorknob against a large mushroom. Skeiphle Dee quickly propelled himself and readied a hammer-fist to knock Hades into the portal. Hades easily dodged and grabbed Dee's head and tossed it with great force, lodging it in the soft trunk of a towering mushroom. Before Hades had even finished with his assault, Nintz mustered all of his energy and unleashed a concentrated psychic blast: bolting Hades into the portal...

Nintz fell to his knees and began to wheeze, while Skeiphle Dee's body was trying to pry its head from the mushroom. Nintz regained some of his breath and went to help his new comrade with his cranium.

"Thank you for the assistance, but Hades is MY problem..." Nintz said with a low, calm voice. Dee quickly replied, "But he was still a threat to me too..." "NO!" Nintz interrupted, "I am his only target, he only attacked you because he saw you actively helping me."

Dee nodded, and the two began to walk off to find a path in the mushroom forest. "Oh yes..." Nintz quickly remembered the deal about transportation home. "I am flattered that you are willing to help me find my home... but I don't have a home... not anymore..." "Why is that? Everyone has a home... a place where they belong..." Dee replied. "Well... yes... but I have done some things... many things that have hurt those around me, and I vowed I'd help them... I did... I gave them a hero, I gave them hope... They still remembered all of the atrocities I committed, but that didn't stop me from helping them. I have no home now because I am believed to be a traitor..."
